Behavior Change Campaigns
Communication
The image below shows two pages from a special of the former print edition of the daily newspaper Metro in the context of a behavior change campaign on honor violence.
The core objective of this campaign was to stimulate discussions about the problem of honor-related violence among parts of the Turkish, Moroccan, Kurdish, Iraqi and Somali communities in the Netherlands.
Campaign components included discussion meetings, information videos, the Metro newspaper special and infomercials on radio FunX.
TransCity and Dreamers Inc. often carry out behavior change campaigns. Based on other objectives, we also regularly do projects for various national and local governments in relation to addressing bicultural Dutch people. Projects range from advising in the development of information campaigns on marriage coercion, presentations on 'unconscious bias' in government communication, to youth events on work and employment.
