Telecom
Marketing, communication, research, strategy
Bicultural Dutch consumers frequently make international phone calls. They also frequently have international conversations via WhatsApp, Telegram and other apps. This is why TransCity regularly carries out assignments for the telecom sector. On this page you can see an image from the introduction campaign for the Surinamese telecom provider Telesur, which TransCity provided. The campaign Twee landen, één gevoel (Two countries, one sentiment) was launched (initially as a teaser campaign) on srefidensi, Surinamese independence day (November 25th).
The product and campaign theme were one: two countries, one SIM card (with two mobile numbers, a Dutch and a Surinamese mobile number), with which the Netherlands and Suriname became one domestic mobile telecom market with one fixed rate for calling within the Netherlands, within Suriname, between the Netherlands and Suriname and vice versa. Through a mix of outdoor, online, print, direct mail, radio and TV plus (temporarily) exclusive distribution through the Kruidvat drug store, tens of thousands of SIM cards were purchased by Surinamese Dutch consumers within ten days.
TransCity also developed communications, conducted research or wrote strategies for Lebara Mobile, Lyca Mobile, Ortel Mobile, T-Mobile, Vodafone, KPN, Simpel, TürkTelekom Mobil, Mobistar/Orange, BASE Company and Telfort.
