In 2019, TransCity was responsible for the sponsorship by and promotional activities of Western Union during the Western Union Summer Carnival, part of the multi-day Rotterdam Unlimited festival, attended by hundreds of thousands of people. Western Union's visibility was extremely high. Most of the music cars during the Western Union Summer Carnival Street Parade were decorated with Western Union banners, promoting the convenience of the Western Union App and website.
Promotional teams also marched and danced in the parade, and during the weeks leading up to the event, the name Western Union was present all over the city center via banners, triangle signs, and billboards.
Since 2003, TransCity has been working regularly for Western Union in addressing and activating bicultural Dutch consumers, from newsletters to PR, from joint promotions to online activation.
TransCity has also conducted market research for Western Union.
