TransCity is also asked to promote new products and services in Turkish, Moroccan, Surinamese, Asian and Polish supermarkets, among others. For example, TransCity took care of the promotion in Turkish and Moroccan supermarkets of Naqi Halal Lasagne, a product of the Belgian food manufacturer Terbeke, as well as the promotion at target group specific fairs in The Hague, Eindhoven and Antwerp.
Thanks to TransCity's extensive network, within two weeks we were able to put together a promotion team of 12 ladies with a Turkish or Moroccan background who, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, introduced customers to this new brand of lasagna on the store floor.
Microwave stands were set up in stores in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Schiedam, The Hague, Utrecht, Arnhem, Eindhoven and Helmond, among others, so that customers could immediately taste the new brand of lasagna.
